How To Fix Twitter (X) Posts Aren’t Loading Right Now Error
Fix 1. Check X (Twitter) Status
Before you follow any other solutions, first check if there are any issues with X (Twitter) status.
- Go to: https://api.twitterstat.us/
- Or go to: https://downdetector.in/status/twitter/
If you find that X server is down or having an outage, then in such case, you can’t do anything but to wait until it is fixed by the X team.
Fix 2. Update Twitter (X) App
- Open App Store or Play Store.
- Search for Twitter (X).
- Tap on “Update”, if any is available.
Fix 3. Update Phone’s Software
On Android:
- Go to Settings > System > System Update.
- Tap on “Download and Install” if an update is available.
On iPhone:
- Go to Settings > General > Software Update.
- Tap on “Download and Install” if an update is available.
Fix 4. Restart Your Phone
On Android:
- Press and hold Power button, until menu options appear on the screen.
- Tap on “Restart” option.
- Once your phone restarts. Check if Twitter (X) app is loading posts or not.
On iPhone:
- Press and hold “Power + Volume Up” button, until you see “slide to power off” on the screen.
- Slide the button and your phone will turn off.
- Wait for 1 minute and then press the “Power” button, until you see Apple logo.
- Once your iPhone restarts, now open your Twitter (X) app and see if posts are loading or not.
Fix 5. Delete Cache of Twitter (X) App
On Android:
- Go to Settings > Apps > All apps/Manage apps.
- Look for X app and tap on it.
- Tap Storage/Storage usage.
- Tap on “Clear Cache” and “Clear Data/Storage”.
On iPhone:
- On your iPhone, go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage.
- Here look for Twitter (X) app and tap on it.
- Now tap on “Offload App”. Again, tap on “Offload App” to confirm.
- Next, tap on “Reinstall App”.
Once X app gets reinstalled, open it and log in to your account and see if Posts are loading now.
Fix 6. Switch Internet Connection
- If you are using mobile data, then switch to Wi-Fi.
- If you are connected to Wi-Fi, then switch to mobile data and then check.
Note: You can also connect to another Wi-Fi network or internet to check if posts are loading or not.
Fix 7. Uninstall and Re-Install Twitter (X) App
- Tap and hold the X app and then tap on “Uninstall/Delete” option.
- Now, open the Google Play Store/App Store.
- Search for X app and tap on “Install”.
- Open the app and log in to your account and then check if posts are loading or not.
